Eleanor Fleming, PhD

Postdoctoral Fellow

I am originally from Chicago. I completed my PhD in Andy Camilli's lab at Tufts University, where I studied metabolic regulation in Streptococcus pneumoniae. I joined the Hochschild lab in 2016 to pursue my long-standing interest in prions. I am currently working on developing genetic reporters to detect prion formation in bacterial cells. Outside of lab I enjoy spending time outdoors, baking, and playing with my puppy Jameson.
